Restoring Hope in the Midst of Suffering

Restoring Hope in the Midst of Suffering – Awakening Your Inner Healing Environment

Chronic and life-altering illness (whether within one’s self or a loved one) often becomes a pervasive, whole-person experience that inevitably includes suffering.  Often, what starts as an inconvenient or irritating concern progresses into an intensely personal, all-consuming experience (i.e., suffering) that quickly impacts multiple dimensions of the person’s overall quality of life.

Suffering is triggered by our body-mind-spirit’s endeavors to signal an increasingly blocked process of inner healing and wholeness.  Accompanied by a growing loss of meaning and control and feelings of hopelessness, suffering now becomes a personal crisis of existential proportions.

Inner Relationship Focusing offers a gentle, experiential process of body/mind/spirit awareness, presence and listening that helps awaken our inner healer.

This experiential workshop will enable participants to discover the possibility of new meaning and inner healing potential amidst experiences of illness, pain or suffering.
